Phare Day is a completely free Quebec congress in Health Sciences bringing together hundreds of participants each year from all universities in Quebec and elsewhere. Now firmly anchored within the French-speaking scientific community, Phare Day continues to arouse keen interest among students and researchers.
The first edition was organized in 2009 by a group of graduate students from the University of Sherbrooke. Lasting two days, the event usually includes plenary lectures by renowned guest speakers, student oral and poster presentation sessions, a dinner conference by special guests and a cocktail reception, in the aim to highlight the constant development of Science.
