Nicolas Jacquin arrived in Canada in August 2019 to complete a bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics at the Université de Montréal. He secured an internship during his first year of studying at the CHUM, with Dr. Gregor Andelfinger where he became familiar with single cell sequencing bioinformatics pipelines. During his second year, Nicolas secured another internship with Dr. Sébastien Lemieux where he currently works on neural-network-derived embedding for predicting phenotype.
