Marjolaine David

PhD student in Bioinformatics (2019-2021 with Sylvie Mader)

IRIC - Université de Montréal

Marjolaine David grew up in the suburbs of Paris. After high school, she went to study at the Université d’Évry Val d’Essonne, where she obtained a double bachelor’s degree in computer science and biology in 2018. Attracted by the field of research, in 2019 she began a research master’s degree in computer science with a specialization in artificial intelligence at the University of Montreal. She is now working on her research project, which lies at the intersection of bioinformatics, transcriptomics, and machine learning, under the supervision of Dr. Sébastien Lemieux and co-supervision of Dr. Sylvie Mader. Marjolaine received her Master’s degree in March 2023. Her thesis focused on the processing of scRNA-seq data using Drop-Seq technology: application to the study of transcriptional networks in breast cancer. Alexandre’s thesis is available via the UdeM Papyrus platform.
